Goodbye Summer!

What a fun summer it has been!  Great weather, lots of cakes, fun classes.  Here some of the summer classes we taught at Posh pantry.  Thank you all for the fun memories! :)

A Minnie Mouse dream come true!

Last week I made these beautiful cakes (6" and 12") for a little girl who turned one year of age last weekend. The cakes were vanilla cakes with raspberry jam plus dark chocolate buttercream filling, covered and decorated with fondant. I hope they liked it as much as I did! ðŸ˜Š. Happy Birthday #1!

A cake that rocks!

Recently, I made this two tiered cake for somebody who loves to Rock and Roll.  The top tier is a 6” vanilla cake with vanilla custard filling and the bottom tier is a 8” chocolate cake with peanut buttercream filling, yummy!. All decorations made out of Fondant using special tools to make the cutouts, except the musical notes.  What a wonderful way to ROCK!!!

Buttercream  Flowers

What a better way to celebrate a Birthday with this 8" two layer orange cake with dulce de leche filing, covered and decorated with buttercream icing.  Playing with the colors and different tips was a lot of fun!  Applying different techniques allowed me to create different things like: roses, star flowers, rose buds, leaves, etc  The cake has an asymmetric design that gives it a soft look.  What a fun way to eat flowers ;) !!!
